After his study in finance at HEC Montreal and economy at Université de Montreal, Stéphane started his career in Toronto as a foreign exchange dealer in 1994 before moving back to Montreal in 1996. During his 18 years at CIBC World Markets, he built a solid reputation servicing Corporate and Institutional clients such as Pension Funds, Hedge Funds and Governments in the field of foreign exchange. His deep knowledge of products and of the markets as well as the quality of his services made him a recognized leader in the industry.
As co-founder and Managing Director at Fxpertise Risk Management. Stephane makes it his mission to offer the best sercices and knowledge in order to further our clients interest as well as the effectivness of their financial risk management strategy.
Eric De Garie
Eric received his bachelor degree Suma Cum Laude from McMaster University and pursued graduate studies in history at York University. His career in finance began in 1988 when he joined Nesbitt Thomson. In 1990, Eric moved over to Bank of Montreal Treasury, where he eventually became responsible for managing the bank's global non-Canada crosses foreign exchange option book. In 1995, Eric left the bank to start an educational consulting firm focused on developing and integrating financial learning programs into the training strategies of Canadian banks and brokerage firms.
With the advances in technologies and the easy access to multiple trading platforms and information it created, Eric once again refocused his activities and energies to the foreign exchange markets. Eric's experience managing and trading Forex combined with his ability to construct and communicate trading strategies in simple yet effective terms is a valuable resource for our clients.
Peter received an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Waterloo University and an MBA from the University of Toronto. Peter also holds the Chartered Accountants designation.
Prior to joining force with Fxpertise Risk Management, Peter worked at Bank of Montreal where he reported to the CFO and managed the Enterprise Infrastructure finance team. Peter also held various consulting and senior finance roles with Reuters, Dow Jones and Telerate. His knowledge, specifically of risk accounting, and his experience are a tremendous asset for our clients.
Denis joined Bank of Montreal Treasury after completing his university studies in 1983. After returning to Toronto from a tour of duty in Asia as a senior trader of FX in Tokyo, Denis return to Toronto in 1991 to head spot Canada trading and eventually sales. In 2003 Denis left BMO to join State Street Bank where he assumed responsibility for their Equity Research department as Vice-President of sales and trading.
Denis successfully completed all 3 of the Chartered Financial Analyst's examinations which earned him the CFA designation. His deep knowledge of markets and theories, in addition to a life time commitment to learning, are qualities greatly contributing to our service offering.
